Railway Terrace House
The extension to an existing 1900’s cottage in Goodwood responds to the client’s brief for a new bathroom, laundry, study, and a more functional open-plan living area.
The new living space is organised around a central courtyard, drawing daylight deep into the plan while strengthening the indoor–outdoor relationship.
A feature plywood ceiling defines the main living area, extends seamlessly from the interior to the exterior, rising and opening to the north and east to capture optimal sunlight, enhancing spatial volume and introducing warmth and texture to the interior.
Located on Kaurna country.
